Heavy duty fabric is water and dirt repellent plus the added vinyl backer adds even more strength and resilience. The patio Duck Covers set holds up tougher against falling branches than other brands we've used. Even the widowmakers aren't able to pierce them! They're not the most flexible, but I'd rather have the strength than the flexibility. Sustained direct sunlight will fade the color but not too badly. Definitely the brand to buy!I purchased these covers in August of 2021. They cover the chairs on my front porch and get morning sun everyday. They are still in very good condition, so seams coming apart, however, one reason I went with these was it was indicated they would not fade, yet fade they did. This is a bit annoying, but does not compromise the protection of the chairs.They last only about two years but while they are new they are fantastic.I had my first set of these for about four years. I moved to snow and used them two more years. Great value for what you get. I bought a second set to replace the first ones for my outdoor furniture.Seemed at first like excellent quality. Can’t figure out why the holes developed.I like that it’s light weight and flexible to put on the furnitureWell built chair cover. Just got them, so we shall see about water resistance and wearability, but these are much better than others we have purchased.The covers are well made and do what they were purchased for. I have 7 of these covers for all my furniture and grill and umbrella. The covers are outside in the sun, wind, and snow, and temperatures from a low of single degrees to 100 plus. I just replaced 2 covers that for whatever reason tore. I have had the original 5 for 3 years and for me for what the covers cost I am very satisfied. The covers only come off when the pieces are being used and put back on when not being used. I leave the cushions on all the time even over the winter and Everything looks brand new. You get what you pay for and these covers are a bargain
