Seems durable enough to make it through a year or more in the Florida weather. Time will tellI purchased this cover because the dimensions were perfect. I am using this on my zero gravity oversized chair with a material cushion. Cushion is not meant to get wet. The cover fit nicely over my chair and seemed to be perfect until today I took cover off chair and the cushion was completely wet from top to bottom, not soaking wet but you would get wet clothes if you sat on it. I had to go back and look to see if I miss read the description and it does say waterproof ??My dad needed a cover for his tall wheeled walker so he could leave it out on the patio instead of bringing it up and down the stairs of the house. I was so happy when I saw this cover was the right dimensions. It has worked really well for his purpose. It covers the entire thing really well and easily and it keeps his walker clean and dry. He is very happy with it.Not the heaviest most durable material, but not the flimsiest. Definitely easy to secure at bottom.
